Although I felt really bored because I usually spend a lot of my time watching videos and movies and whatnot, DJ told me to use the time that I used to spend watching videos to spend time with God. And when it comes to bible reading, I never know where to begin. Proverbs or Romans is always a good place to go, but it's never really what I want read. Not that I don't like reading those books, its just doesn't hit the right way. So I resorted back to what I really like to do, song writing.
So I was working on a song and I really wanted to use a verse in the song. And I couldn't think of any but I had an idea of what I wanted to use. I wanted the word "believe" in it. So I went to biblegateway.com and guess what?? The verse I needed was the Verse of the Day
“[The Children of Abraham] To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”- John 8:31-32
In the search box, I typed in "believe" and as soon as I hit enter, I saw the word "believed" in the Verse of the Day. So I went back and read it. What's really crazy is my song is about a boy and a girl. And the verse is directed to "the Children of Abraham." HOW LEGIT IS THAT?!?!?! :]Anyway, thought I'd share that with you guys.That's it for now. bye bye~!! :]
